Sept 2012 : S.K Somaiya Vidyavihar known to imbibe Indian and social
values amongst its students, has yet again proved its mantle by
encouraging more then 2700 students across the Somaiya campus to support
Municipal corporation( BMC) of Mumbai, to manage the cause of keeping
the 'Dream City' clean. Ranked amongst the 7th dirtiest cities in the
world (ranking by Forbes magazine) Somaiya Vidyavihar students flagged
of its campaign "ANTI- SPATTER DRIVE" under the full support of Hon.
Mayor Mr Sunil Prabhu, who along with students took an oath to keep the
city clean.
