ALHOSN University discusses collaborative opportunities with Malaysia at Business Roundtable

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister & Vice Chancellor Sabouni voice mutual interest in knowledge sharing ALHOSN University,
a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality,
value-based education, joined major UAE investors and dignitaries in
discussing potential partnership opportunities with Malaysia during an
exclusive Business Roundtable and Luncheon held recently at the
InterContinental Abu Dhabi hotel.
The Honourable Tan Sri Dato’ Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, expressed his country’s interest in enhancing collaboration between the countries’ educational sectors. Prominent guests present during the meeting included H.E. Khalfan Saeed Al Kaabi, First Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and H.E. Fatima Obaid Al Jaber, COO of Al Jaber Group and President of ALHOSN University’s Society of Women in Engineering (SOWIE).
“We had a productive sharing of insights with The Honourable Tan Sri Dato’ Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin on how we could further expand the scope and field of cooperation between Malaysia and the UAE in areas such as teacher training and learning standards. He appreciated our focus on providing ‘global knowledge with local vision’ and expressed a genuine interest in exchanging more visits with the university. We will look more closely into how we can enhance collaboration in mutually pursuing higher standards of educational delivery and excellence,” said Prof. Sabouni.
Named after Abu Dhabi's historic ALHOSN Palace, ALHOSN University was founded in 2005 by the Abu Dhabi Holding Company in response to growing local demand for high-quality, value-based educational institutions. It currently offers 12 undergraduate and 7 graduate programs under the Faculties of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences. ALHOSN accepts students of all nationalities and also accommodates youths with special needs. All its programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.-
